Strangfeld, Mr./Mrs. John (Golden – 19 March 1976)

On Sunday, May 30, about 100 relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Strangfeld for a family reunion and to help them celebrate a belated 50th wedding anniversary.

John Strangfeld and Elizabeth (Glasow) Strangfeld were married March 19, 1926. They have resided in the Town of Pine Valley for their entire married life.

They are parents of three children, Alice, Mrs. DeVere Sischo of Neillsville, Herman on the home farm, and Elaine, Mrs. Robert Quast of Sparta. There are 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

For the occasion, relatives came from St. Paul, Mahtowa and Carlton, Mn., Rib Lake, Nekoosa, Willard, Strum, Sparta, Medford, Granton, Greenwood and Kiel, Wi., and Menominee, Mi.

The three-tiered anniversary cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Herman Strangfeld.
