Weddig, Henry (5 October 1901-30 March 1981)

COLBY-- Henry W. Weddig, 79, Route 1, Chippewa Falls, a pharmacist who worked at Jensen Drug Store and Weddig Drug Store here died Monday at his home.

The West Bend native earned a degree in pharmacy from Marquette University. He retired in 1963 and moved to Chippewa falls in 1975.

Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy M. Johnson, whom he married July 29, 1926 in Owen; a son, Peter, Chippewa Falls; a daughter, Lea Blanchard, Cedarburg; a stepsister, Irene Stephen, Crystal Lake; a stepbrother, Lester Meyer, Phillips; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Graveside services will be Saturday in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
