Law, John W. (22 November 1902-11 January 1981)

GREENWOOD-- John Willis Law, 78, Route 1, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was admitted there December 18.

A committal service will be Tuesday at Neillsville Cemetery. The Rev. William A. Noble of United Methodist Church, Neillsville, is to officiate. Friends may call at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

Mr. Law was born November 22, 1902 in Tarkio, Montana. On October 10, 1926 in Tarkio, he and Etta Clark Underwood were married. The couple farmed in Missouri and Iowa. They moved here about two years ago.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Wylie of Greenwood; one son Clark Underwood of Shenandoah, Iowa; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Perry of St, Joseph, Missouri, and Mrs. Lola Klein of Redwood City, California; and one brother, Clifton of Portland, Oregon.
