Ehlert, Herman (30 December 1895-11 April 1945)

LOYAL--Herman A. Ehlert, 49,Wausau businessman who was born here and grew to manhood in this vicinity, died suddenly Wednesday at his home as the result of a heart attack.

Funeral services will be Saturday at the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home, Wausau. The Rev. Victor H. Quello, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church of that city, will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.

The deceased was born December 30, 1895, in Loyal and located in Wausau in 1915. He was married November 12, 1924, in Stratford to Miss Ruth Johnson, who survives.

Also surviving are a nephew, James Johnson, who made his home with the Ehlerts for nine years and who is serving with the army in England; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Komis, Marshfield, and Mrs. William Russow, Loyal, and three brothers, Otto Ehlert, Marshfield; Albert Ehlert, Greenwood, and Frank Ehlert, Wild Rose.
