Ericksmoen, John A. (10 April 1942-12 January 1979)
OWEN-- An Owen native, John A. Ericksmoen, 36, Kemmerer, died January 12. Death
was due to an apparent heart attack.
He was born April 10, 1942 in Owen where he attended schools. He served with the
U.S. Air Force from 1961-67 with overseas duty in North Africa.
On November 6, 1965 at Withee he married Barbara Telin. He was employed by FMC
Corporation as a heavy equipment operator. He previously was employed by
Commonwealth Electric in power line construction. He had lived in Kemmerer
(Wyoming) since March 1973.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Brenda and Cindy, both at home; his
mother, Mrs. Mildred Ericksmoen of Owen; a brother, Jim Ericksmoen of Libby,
Montana; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Mageland of Clarksville, Tennessee. He was
predeceased by his father John and a sister Janice.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Eagles Hall in Kemmerer. Burial
was in the Kemmerer City Cemetery.
