Oestreich, Linda Sophie (3 January 1912-23 August 2000)

COLBY-- Linda Sophie (nee Scheer) Oestreich, 88, Colby, formerly of Loyal, died August 23, 2000, at Colonial Center in Colby.

Services will be Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will be in Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with the arrangements.

She was born January 3, 1912, in Atwood to John and Sopihe (nee Witt) Scheer. She was a forelady in the Johnson Garment Corporation factory and worked part-time at Figi's in Marshfield.

She is survived by three sons, Harold (Jackie) Stange of Colby, Allen (Virginia) Stange of Abbotsford and Lyle (Alice) Stange of Milwaukee; one daughter, Jean (Charles) Montgonery of Waukesha; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grfandchildren.
