Miss Barbara Jane Olejniczak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olejniczak, 105 West Grant, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, became the bride of William Bates, Superior, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bates, Chetek, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 14, 1972, at Christ the King Cathedral, Superior, Wisconsin.

Father Wenninger performed the 3:30 p.m. marriage ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olejniczak.

Honor attendants were Kathleen Spencer and Lawrence Vallem. A reception was held at the Village Inn, Superior.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of Thorp High School, and the groom is a graduate student at W.S.U., Superior.

The couple are making their home in Superior.
