Lindekugel, Alta L. (4 September 1905-22 October 1987)

Services will be Monday at Christ Lutheran Church for Mrs. Alta L. Lindekugel, 82, of 1108 S. Cedar Ave., who died in St. Joseph's Hospital emergency room. She had been in ill health with a heart condition for the past six months. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Ilse Bradtke will be the organist and Verlyn Randt, soloist. Burial will be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike, Mark and Steve Lucht, Jeffrey Lindekugel, Chuck Loos, Jim Nelson, and Paul Krings.

Visitation will be at the Hansen Funeral Home.

She was born September 4, 1905, in the town of Loyal to Clifford and Anna Stevens. She was raised in the Loyal area, attending town of Beaver schools. She was married to Oscar C. Lindekugel June 20, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. They farmed in the town of Sherman until 1952, when they moved to Marshfield. She was employed at the Miller Cheese Company here until her retirement in 1965.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, a Bible study group at the church, and the Concerned Hearts Club. She was also a 4-H leader in Clark County for many years.

Surviving are a son, Dale of Loyal, two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Dona May) Lucht of Spencer and Mrs. Earl (Arla) Krings of Auburndale; a sister, Mrs. Val (May) Wojner of Abbotsford; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband on July 13, 1969 and her parents.

Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church.
