Weyhmiller, George (10 January 1882-18 April 1962)

LOYAL-- George Weyhmiller, 80, Loyal, died Saturday evening at the Sunset Convalescent Home at Fairchild where he had been a patient for about two weeks.

Funeral services will be held today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church here with the Rev. Fr. Norbert King officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home.

Mr. Weyhmiller was educated in the Town of Sherman grade schools and at the Unity High School. He farmed until his retirement in 1934 when he moved to Loyal. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America; and in 1929 became a director of the Citizens State Bank in Loyal. He was serving as vice president at the time of his death. Mr. Weyhmiller served as chairman of the Town of Sherman from 1920 to 1932.

Survivors include two sons, Dale and Mike, Loyal, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Rossman, Eau Claire; 8 grandchildren; one brother, Otto, Loyal; three sisters, Mrs. E. Lipke, Mendota, Illinois, Mrs. Della Kopka, Oakland, California, and Mrs. Esther Hudson, Sangta Rosa, California.
