Wehe, John (23 June 1912-1 March 1986)

GREENWOOD-- Services for John Wehe, 73, Route 1, Greenwood, Town of York, will be Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Mr. Wehe died Saturday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Dennis Lynch will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bernard Schmidt, Donald Cole, William Horn, Warren Meckelke, Marvin Anderegg and Everett Bartsch.

Visitation will be today and Tuesday until time of services at Rinka Funeral Home, A PCCW Rosary Service will be held today followed by a general rosary.

Mr. Wehe was born June 23, 1912, in the Town of York, the son of Boniface and Anna (Weber) Wehe. He attended Pleasantville School in the Town of York.

He married Martha Ampe November 10, 1932, in Loyal. She died November 1946.

He farmed in the Town of York until 1969, when he moved to Neillsville, where he lived with his mother, In 1982, he moved to Route 1, Greenwood, where he lived with his daughter.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Marceline) Carr, Richton Park, Illinois, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Ann) Mysemburg, Menomonee Falls, Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Olson, Cudahy, and Mrs. John (Andy) Weyer, Greenwood; two sons, Albert, San Diego, and Raymond, Dorchester; three brother, Eugene, Marshfield, Bernard, Santa Barbara, California, and Jerome, Loyal; one sister, Sister Imelda Wehe, Wilmette, Illinois; his mother, Mrs. Anna Wehe, Neillsville Memorial Home; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his father, and one brother, Wilfred.
