Schmidt, Wayne Patrick (3 April 1964-21 July 1967)

Greenwood--Wayne Patrick Schmidt, 3 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane (Pat) Schmidt, Route 1, Greenwood, died of cancer Friday in St. |Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield. He had been ill for the past eight months.

A Mass of the Angels will be offered Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Jerome Haeser, Bloomer, assisted by the Rev. Norbert King, Loyal, will officiate. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will repose at the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal.

Wayne Patrick was born April 3, 1964, in Marshfield.

In addition to his parents, survivors are two bothers, Michael, 10; and Thomas, 8; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, Loyal; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Sternitzky, Granton; and the paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Elsie Conrad, Marshfield.
