LOYAL--Margaret Schmidt, 79, Route 2, Loyal, town of York, died Saturday at the Neillsville Nursing Home.

Services will be Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Dennis Lynch officiating, Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey, Ronald, Bruce and Robert Schmidt, Eddie Fischer and William Horn.

Visitation will be today at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, where rosary services will be conducted today by the Parish Council of Catholic Women and a general rosary.

She was born May 22, 1907, in the town of Weston, to Joseph and Amelia Schwellenbach. She attended Globe School and St. Mary's Parochial School, Neillsville.

She was married to Allie Schmidt October 25, 1927, at St.Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. He died in October 1981. They had farmed in the town of York.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and its altar society.

Surviving are two daughters, Lucy Schmidt of Loyal and Mrs.Jean (Irene) Fischer of Milwaukee; three sons, Larry of New Berlin, James of Tomah, and Dale of Loyal; a brother, Roland Schwellenbach of Medford; and six grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, two sisters and her parents.
