Joyce, Alice (8 May 1923-28 June 1986)

LOYAL--- Services will be at noon Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, for Mrs. William (Alice) Joyce, 63 of 214 North West St., Loyal, who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

The Rev. Dennis Lynch will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be today at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. A Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be held today followed by a general rosary.

The former Alice Strobel was born May 8, 1923, at Campbellsport, a daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Muellenbach) Strobel. She attended Hustis-Ford School in Dodge County.

Her first marriage was to Wilbur "Sandy" Hanna, February 9, 1945, in Waukesha. He died January 5, 1973. Her second marriage was to William Joyce, September 3, 1982, in Loyal. He survives.

She resided in Loyal since 1948. She was employed as a cook at St. Anthony's School for 19 years and was employed as a nurse's aide at Loyal Medical Center for 19 years.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Surviving, besides her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. Judy Virnig, Granton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Tom (Dawn) Weyer, Greenwood, and Mrs. Larry (Helen) Jensen, Zephyr Hills, Florida; three brothers, Hilmer Strobel, Neoscho, George Strobel, Hartford, and Cornelius Strobel, Hubertus; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Paske, Portage and Mrs. Mae Martin, Hartford; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, one brother and one sister.
