Firnstahl, Evelyn H. (13 August 1913-8 July 1993)

LOYAL---Services for Evelyn H. Firnstahl, 79, Loyal, who died Thursday morning in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, will be Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal.

The Rev. Roman Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kirk and Russ Haslow, Rick and Rodney Delo, Lynn Smith and Donald Fischer.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, today with a prayer service tonight.

She was born August 12, 1913, in the town of Beaver, to Henry and Louisa (Richter) Wichman. She was a graduate of Loyal High School and Stevens Point Normal School. She taught at Taft School in the town of Sherman until her marriage. She was married to Lawrence Firnstahl in July 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She farmed with her husband all of her married life, and they lived in the Loyal area for 58 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Theresa's Circle.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Michele) Pearse of Issaquah, Washington, and Mrs. Bruce (Pat Firnstahl) Hadler of Loyal; one brother, Orville Wichman of Loyal; and seven step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, one brother, Clarence, and two sisters, Edna Joss and Rosa Delo.
