The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Butek was baptized Sunday at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Attending sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Haas. The baby was named Christopher Robert.

The christening feast was held at the grandparents’ home, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wald, in Stanley. Attending people were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Butek, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Haas and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chwala and family of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Frenz and son of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Valek and son of Oak Lawn, Illinois.
