Strzok, Mr./Mrs. Mike (Gold – 6 JUN 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Strzok, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, July 1, 1972. Mike Strzok and Anna Wnek were married June 6, 1922 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Francis Kulig officiating. A mass was said in their honor on June 6, 1972, followed by a breakfast for the immediate family at the Thorpedo.

A cocktail hour was held prior to the dinner dance, and was hosted by their five children at Thorp. Music was furnished by Jerry’s Band.

Original wedding attendants present were: Mrs. Victoria Swiontek, Mrs. Frank Wnek, Anna Dobrzynski, and Joseph Panek.

All of their children and their families were present for this occasion, namely: Chester Strzok of Thorp, Mrs. Louis (Lorraine) Wehlacz, Diamond Bar, California, Harvey Strzok, Muskego, Wisconsin, Mrs. Clarence (Alice) Mroz, Thorp, and Mrs. Chester (Margie) Mroz of Owen, Wisconsin. All 9 grandchildren were present. Their only great-grandchild, Shawn Strzok of Hales Corners, was not present.
