Brown, Helen (11 OCT 1885 – 5 OCT 1972)
Mrs. Helen Brown, age 86, resident of the Cornell Nursing Home, and a former
Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.) resident, passed away Saturday afternoon at St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
She was born in Kewaunee, Illinois on October 11, 1885, daughter of Charles and
Tillie Albrecht. She moved to Pipestone, Minnesota when she was a young girl,
and on July 8, 1902 was united in marriage to Marion Brown. She lived most of
her life in the Stanley area.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Marcella) Bradley of Cornell; one
sister, Mrs. Elsie Haupt of Everett, Washington; four grandchildren, and ten
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one
brother, and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Plombon Funeral Home,
Stanley, with Rev. William Nicholson officiating. Interment was made in the
Oakland Cemetery, Stanley.
