Cwikla, Christine Ann (15 JUL 1972)

Miss Christine Ann Cwikla and Francis G. Wilczek exchanged wedding vows at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.) on Saturday, July 15th, 1972. Father Casmier Paul performed the two p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cwikla, Lublin, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilczek, Withee (Clark Co.).

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an arched empire line gown of chantilace with bishop sleeves and peau bodice. The shirred skirt swept to a chapel train. An elbow length veil accented the dress, and she carried flowers of yellow roses with stephanotis around baby’s breath.

Mrs. John Lorenz was matron of honor, with Miss Janice Janczak, Miss Debbie Zabilka, Miss Bonnie Sebunia, and Miss Virginia Wilczek as bridesmaids. They wore empire styled gowns with bishop sleeves with a ruffle on the bottom. The colors were rainbow of orchid, yellow, blue, green, and pink. They each carried daisy pompons with carnations colored to match the dresses around baby’s breath.

Miss Nancy Wilczek, niece of the groom, was miniature bride, and Ronnie Wilczek, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

Leonard Cwikla was best man, with Marvin Paczkowski, Jim Wilczek and Rick Kroll as groomsmen.

A reception for 375 guests was held at Quonset Hall, Thorp.

After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, they will reside at 805 10th Avenue South, Wausau, where the groom is employed with Wausau Homes as a builder.

Out of town guests were from Chicago, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Michigan, Owen, With, Lublin, Thorp, Gilman, Stanley, Waukesha, Wausau, Medford, Chippewa Falls, Addison, Oak Lawn, Illinois, Menomonee Falls, Stetsonville, Westboro, Eau Claire, North Dakota, Niles and Flossmoor, Illinois.
