Risler, SueAnne Marie (Marriage – 1 November 1975)

SueAnne Marie Risler and Michael Arnold Buchholz exchanged marriage vows Saturday, November 1, in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, by the Rev. William Humlie. A reception was held at the Wildcat Inn.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Walt Wulff, Rt. 2 Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Buchholz, Rt. 1 Greenwood.

The bride’s white satin A-line gown, fashioned with an overlay of white lace, featured long sleeves and a satin train. Her short veil was held by a headpiece of yellow roses and blue and green carnations. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and carnations, rust daisies and green finger fern.

Rust, blue and green velvet A-line gowns were worn by Miss Burny Schmidt, maid of honor, and Miss Cheryl Redig and Miss Donna Shupe, bridesmaids. All are of Loyal. Their bouquets were of blue and green carnations, rust daisies and yellow roses.

Steven Buchholz, Neillsville, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Randy Domine, Loyal, and Dennis Buchholz, Neillsville. Guests were seated by Marvin Wulff, Loyal, and Randy Buchholz, Neillsville.

Mrs. Ken Voss was the organist and Verlyn Randt, the soloist.

The new Mrs. Buchholz is a 1975 graduate of Loyal High School. Her husband graduated from Neillsville High School in 1971 and from District One Technical Institute-Eau Claire in 1973. He is employed at a Loyal auto dealership.

They plan to make their home in Loyal after returning from a Wedding trip to Canada.
