Halloin, Mary Laureen (Marriage – 20 September 1975)

The wedding vows of Miss Mary Laureen Halloin and Leonard James Hansen were blessed September 20 at St. Joseph Church. Both the bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Halloin, Green Bay, and the groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen, Neillsville, were escorted down the aisle by their parents.

The bride’s gown of antique slipper satin and Spanish lace had been her mother’s wedding dress. A lace mantilla and a nosegay of stephanotis and baby’s breath completed her ensemble.

Miss Ann Halloin was the maid of honor and Beth Halloin, the bridesmaid. They wore gowns of Tahiti double knit with 1930’s caps of matching colors and carried matching-hued nosegays of carnations and baby’s breath.

The groom was attended by John Whitney as bestman and Larry Scribner as groomsman. Guests were seated by Richard Hansen and Tom Halloin.

The newlyweds are both 1974 graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. They ae residing in Minneapolis, Mn.; where the groom is employed as a professional musician.

Guests from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mortenson, Sr., and family and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mortenson, Jr., all of Neillsville, and Mavis Rossow and Celia Bremer of Loyal.
