Kieser, Mr./Mrs. G.G. (Golden – 29 September 1975)

Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Kieser of Abbotsford marked their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, August 31, with service of praise followed by open house at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbottsford. Gottlieb Kieser and the former Stella Habeck were married September 29, 1925, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Habeck, in Athens. They are the parents of nine children, Frederick, Neillsville; Mrs. Quentin (Dorothy) Quade, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Donald, Abbotsford; Mrs. Floyd (Doris) Hodd, Melrose; Mrs. Weldon (Marilyn) Brown, Mason City, Ia.; Mrs. Kurt (Carol) Bartz, Merrill; Dennis, Thorp; Mrs. Warren (Muriel) Puhl, Estherville, Ia.’ Mrs. Knute (Marjorie) Gehring, Eleva. The children, their husbands and wives, and all 23 grandchildren were present for the observance. Mr. Kieser has been a barber all his life.
