Ground was broken Friday on the site of the new Gehrke Tru-Value Hardware Store to be built on the lot at the corner of Central Avenue and Third Street.

Space is limited in their present building on Fifth Street, necessitating and improved and expanded facility, which they will have by the 20th of October, when they expect to be moved into the new all steel structure of more than 4,800 square feet of floor space. The building has an attractive design and will compliment Central Avenue and the business district.
