Miss Joan Lee and Don Votava repeated wedding vows before the Rev. Stan Vanderwelde and the Rev. David Hensly during a 2 p.m. wedding rite March 29, 1975 in Faith Reformed Church, Brookings, South Dakota.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lee, 106 Jefferson Avenue, Brookings, South Dakota, are the parents of the bride, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Votava, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). Mrs. Ruth Sikkink played organ for the service, and Miss Linda Lee, Miss Kathy Maki, and Bruce Janke were soloists.

Present in marriage by her father, the bride was seen in an empire style gown with polyester lace trim, with a floor length veil attached to hat shaped headpiece having a chapel train. A cascade bouquet of pink roses and orchids and a white Bible completed her ensemble.

Bridal attendants, Miss Linda Lee, Brookings, South Dakota, maid of honor, and Miss Kathy Maki, Owen, bridesmaid, appeared in pin, empire style polyester gowns, and each carried a white mums.

Harold Votava, Bayport, Minnesota, performed the duties of best man,w ith the assisterce of Bob Lee and Bruce Janke, groomsmen. Curt Friese and Bob Lee seated guests.

A 1964 graduate of Brookings High School, Brookings, South Dakota, and a 1969 graduate of South Dakota State University, Brookings, the new Mrs. Votava is a teacher at the Owen-Withee Public School. Her husband, a 1966 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, is employed by Trierweiler Construction in Marshfield.

The couple is living near Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
