Brunner, Walter (24 DEC 1900 – 22 DEC 1970)

Funeral services for Walter Brunner, 69, of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) were Thursday, December 24, 1970, at the Polnaszek Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Mr. Brunner died Tuesday at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, where he had been a patient since December 16.

Erling Omdal and Charles Mattison officiated at the 2 p.m. rites.

Burial was made in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Berg Pearson, Fay Russell, Harold Brockhaus, Arvid Carlson, Lawrence Carlson and Dwight Balow.

Walter R. Brunner was born December 24, 1900, in the town of Little Black (Taylor Co., Wis.). He received his education in Stetsonville.

He married Louise Paul in Medford on June 24, 1924, and they farmed on route 2, Dorchester, since 1932. His wife survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Audrey) Stockwell of Dorchester, seven grandchildren, a brother, John Brunner of Stetsonville, a sister, Mrs. Bertha Lura of Avaca, and a step-sister, Mrs. Gertrude Brunner of Stetsonville.
