Huhn, Magda (11 APR 1911 – 8 SEP 1970)

Mrs. Ferdinand Hugh, 59, Milan (Marathon Co., Wis.), died Tuesday evening, September 8, 1970 at her home. She had been ill for three months.

Funeral services were Friday, September 11 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan. The Rev. David Schroeder officiated at the 1:30 p.m. rites.

Interment was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery. Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Magda Peterson was born in the town of New Hope in Portage County on April 11, 1911. Her educations was received in the elementary schools in the town of Lenork.

She married Ferdinand Huhn, who survives, November 29, 1930, at Farmington Lutheran Church, town of Farmington in Waupaca County. They lived in Amherst for two years, in Riplinger (Clark Co.) for four years, and in 1937 they moved to Milan, where they have lived since.

Mrs. Huhn was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Ladies' Aid. She was also a member of the Milan Homemakers Club.

Surviving, besides her husband, are their daughters, Mrs. Laverne (Elaine) Dake of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alex (Irene) Dahlke of Edgar, Mrs. La Vern (Margaret) Holbach of Medford, and Mrs. Frederick (Joyce) Krueger of Hamburg. There are 20 grandchildren.

Two brothers, Carrol of Sheridan and Vernon Peterson of Port Edwards, and one sister, Mrs. James (Helen) Fischer of Milwaukee, also survive.

A daughter, Beverly, died in 1943, and one sister is deceased.
