Spec. 5 and Mrs. John L. Matthews announce the birth of a six pound, seven ounce
baby girl on Friday, September 11, 1970. They have named her Christine Marie.
Mrs. Matthews is the former Karen Langteau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Art
Langteau of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.).
Spec. 5 Matthews, stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, is the son of Mrs.
Jane Matthews of Greer, South Carolina.
Mrs. Nellie Knoll of Abbotsford is the new baby's maternal great-grandmother.
Christine also has great-grandparents in Greer, South Carolina and Toledo, Ohio.
