At the altar decorated with two large baskets of white gladioli and yellow daisies at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), Carol Jean Bauer was given in marriage by her father to Gerald Arthur Weideman of route 1, Abbotsford.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bauer Jr., route 1, Unity. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Weideman, route 1, Abbotsford, are the groom's parents.

Music during the ceremony was provided by organist Ron Boss. He also accompanied soloist Miss Julene Radlinger, sing "The Lord's Prayer" and "The Wedding Prayer."

Miss Brenda Lou Bauer, Unity, was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Janice Weideman, New London, and Mrs. William Klun of Milwaukee. Flower girl and ring bearer were Brenda Talcott and Douglas Bauer of Unity.

Best man was Alfred Weideman, Abbotsford. Other attendants to the groom were Gary Anderson, Holmen, and William Klun of Milwaukee.

Randy Bauer and Frank Schreiber performed the ushering duties.

The bride wore an entrained floor length bridal gown of Chantilly lace and angel mist taffeta. It featured a lace bodice and long lace sleeves. Lace was appliqued on the skirt and train. Her veil of English illusion billowed from a forward headpiece of borealis crystals. The bridal bouquet, interspersed with white pompons, was a cascade of yellow and gold roses.

The floor length formals of the bride's attendants were of silk organza of mimosa and willow green. They were designed with short pouf sleeves and white yokes, and satin bows trimmed the backs.

A reception and dance at Trianon Ballroom, Edgar, followed the ceremony.

The bride, a graduate of Adams-Friendship High School in 1969, has been employed at Land O'Lakes Creameries in Spencer. A dairy farmer, the groom graduated from Abbotsford High School.

Following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, the couple will live at route 1, Abbotsford.
