Mr. and Mrs. Dale Carlquist are the parents of a son born Thursday, August 6, 1970, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Matthew Dale weighed eight pounds, one and one-half ounces at birth, and he joins two brothers, Scott and Dale, at home.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carlquist, Nelson, Minnesota, and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Kenyon, Fergus Falls, Minnesota. His paternal step-grandfather is Ole Abrahamson, Northwood, North Dakota, and great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Kenyon, Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
