Schuh, Albert (4 MAY 1889 – 23 MAR 1970)
Albert Schuh, 80, a lifetime resident of the Colby area (Clark Co., Wis.), died Monday evening, March 23, 1970 at the Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards.
Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby, where he had been a member, on Monday, March 30, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Francis Rushman will officiate at the services.
A general rosary will be said Sunday evening at 8:15 at Lulloff Funeral Home.
Commitment will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery in Colby.
Albert William Schuh was born in the town of Colby (Clark Co.) on May 4, 1889. He was educated in Colby schools.
After his marriage to Elsie Becker, who survives, which took place in Colby June 23, 1914, the couple farmed on the home place for 30 years. After a short stay in Colby, the family again farmed in the town of Colby for about five years, just south of the city.
Mr. and Mrs. Schuh spent the last 20 years in the city of Colby. He spent the last several months of his life at the nursing home in Port Edwards.
One son, Raymond, and two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Alice) Reis, and Mrs. Richard (Marie) Nikolai, all of Colby, survive. There are four grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother and two sisters. They are Joe Schuh of Shawano, Mrs. Clara Lindner and Mrs. Agnes Burmeister of Dixon, Illinois.
Three brothers and five sisters are deceased.
