Sprague, Anna M. (31 AUG 1883 – 18 DEC 1969)
Mrs. Anna Sprague, 86, a former Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, died at
Stevens Point on December 18, 1969. Funeral services were held December 20th at
the Boston Funeral Home, Stevens Point, and interment was made in Forest
Cemetery.
Anna M. Malchow was born August 31, 1883 at Dorchester (Clark Co.). She attended
school there, and on jjanu
23, 1902 was married to Andrew Sprague. They lived and Dorchester and
Abbotsford, and in 1912 moved to Sevens Point, where she has resided since. Mr.
Sprague, a railroad engineer, died April 15, 1932.
Mrs. Sprague is survived by three children: Warren of Minneapolis, Clifford of
Stevens Point, and Mrs. C.D. Sparhawk of Hemet, California; seven grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Malchow of Stevens Point,
and Fred Malchow of Abbotsford; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Barker of Abbotsford,
Mrs. Hugo (Bertha) Zenker of Park Falls, and Mrs. Alvina Marlow of Dorchester.
Among those from the area who attended the funeral were Fred Malchow, Mrs.
Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Oehler, Abbotsford, Mrs. Marlow, Henry Rau, Mr. and
Mrs. George Rau and William Rau, Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Zenker, Park Falls,
and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunt of Colby.
