Halverson, Lloyd H. (18 SEP 1908 – 14 DEC 1969)
Lloyd Henry Halverson, 61, route 1, Edgar, died Sunday, December 14, 1969, at 4:30 p.m. at Taylor County Memorial Hospital, Medford. The body lay in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and funeral services will be conducted at Peace Lutheran Church, town of Frankfort (Marathon Co., Wis.). The Rev. Franklin Schroeder will officiate at the services at 1:30 p.m. today, December 18, and at the committal following in the parish cemetery.
Lloyd Henry Halverson was born in the town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.) September 18, 1908, and attended school in the township. He was married to Caroline Rose Parkhill May 16, 1934, in the Colby Lutheran Church. They farmed in the town of Hoard (Clark Co.) for 19 years, and then lived for short periods in Marshfield, Neillsville and Owen. For the past eight eyars they have resided at their present home on Route 1, Edgar (Marathon Co., Wis.)
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in the town of Frankfort.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Larry, of Omro, and Charlene and LaVerne at home.
Also surviving him are three brothers, Art and Donald Halverson of Wilmington, Delaware, and Walter Halverson of Vesper, and one sister, Mrs. Hugh (Caroline) Seefeldt of Prentice.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
