Tiffany Radue and Alexis Spuhler will serve as Loyal’s representatives for this summer’s Badger Girls State . T h e s e girls are being s p o n s o re d b y Loyal’s American Legion Auxiliary.

The purpose of Badger Girls State is to develop leadership and pride in American citizens, educate citizens about our system of g o v e r n m e n t , instill a greater understanding o f A m e r i c a n traditions, and to stimulate a desire to maintain our democratic government processes.

Tiff any and Alexis, along with other Wisconsin delegates, will become a fifty-first state and will function according to the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Most of each day at American Legion Auxiliary Badger Girls State will be given to the various activities of government. Attendees “learn by doing” as they function on city, county and state levels by electing officials in the manner prescribed by regular election procedures and conducting business on those levels. Every girl is encouraged to participate in some level of the governmental process. Tiff any and Alexis will spend a week at a University of Wisconsin campus this summer enjoying their experience at Badger Girls State.
