Covyeow, Diane J. (2 JUN 1951 – 13 FEB 2019)

Diane Covyeow, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis due to diabetes-related complications.

Diane June Jacks was born June 2, 1951, to Anton and Valeria Jacks, raised on the family farm and graduated from Thorp High School in 1969. After high school, she went to work for ITT & Hartford Life Insurance where she held various job titles and positions.

Diane lived her life through simple pleasures: she enjoyed phone conversations with family and friends, was an avid and loyal sports fan (especially with the Packers & MN Twins) and cherished her unique cookie jar and ornament collection. In addition, she was a big supporter of bur military and had worked with various government agencies to help obtain a well-deserved WWII medal for her father .

She will be remembered for her tough and resilient strength, her willingness and kindness to help others and her good sense of humor.

Survived by husband Gordy; stepson Joshua (Jena) Covyeow and step-granddaughter MacKenzie; father Anton Jacks; siblings: Carolyn, Jerry (Mary), Ray (Joanne), Sharon (Mark) and Sandra; nephews and nieces: Jason (Kasha) & Tyler, Randy (Diana), January, Kevin (Tracey) & Jamie, Jeffrey, Lyndsey and Dakota.
