Adamczuk, Joseph M. (8 JUL 1927 - 24 JAN 2019)
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph M. Adamczuk,
resident of Medford, Wisconsin. He died peacefully in his sleep at Aspirus Care
Facility in Medford after having been on Hospice for less than a week.
Son of William and Pelagia (Koltalo) Adamczuk who preceded him in death along
with siblings, Russell, Bernice, Eugene, and Daniel.
He is survived by niece, Gayle and nephew, Howard, great nephew, Greg, and great
niece, Sarah
Schreffler and her children, Zain and Abigail, and numerous additional family
members and adopted family, and many friends.
Joseph was a talented tool and die design engineer, retiring from Crepaco in
1998 in Beloit, WI. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and recently
supported the Trail Life Scouts. Joe was a friend to all and will be remembered
for his generosity, strong faith, and sense of humor. He was an outstanding
story teller and could entertain for hours with his jokes. He was also a
fabulous photographer and loved to document his adventures.
Joe came down with polio at 21 years of age but went on to live a productive and
meaningful life, setting an outstanding example of how to rise above challenging
circumstances. He put his life in the Lord’s hands and proceeded with courage,
tenacity, and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at
the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church on 4868 Cemetery Avenue in Abbotsford,
WI.
Special thanks to the staff at Aspirus Care Facility and to those who supported
Joseph in living an independent life, especially Ivan Miller.
