Acker, Bryan Eugene (26 September 1960 – 22 January 2019)
Bryan E. Acker, age 58, of Neillsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019
from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Bryan Eugene Acker was born on September 26, 1960 in Marshfield, to Richard and
Virginia (Franz) Acker. He was raised on the family farm, graduating from Loyal
High School in 1978. After high school, Bryan worked at Greenwood Milk Products
for a few years before working for Ron Lindgren in Withee. He later worked in
Stratford before taking a job with Abby Vans in July 1990, where he worked as a
mechanic until his death.
He was a member of the Neillsville Rod & Gun Club and had many interests, but
especially loved playing pool, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
Bryan is survived by one son: Travis Acker of Neillsville; one brother: David
(Pat) Acker of Loyal; one nephew: Jeff Acker of Greenwood, and Jeff’s children:
Amber, Janelle, Blake and Montana; 5 step-daughters: Kayla Schmitt of
Marshfield, Kim (Jeff) Mohr of Eau Claire, Brooke (Dale) Lawcewicz of Thorp,
Shawna (Jon) Stoiber of Spencer, Heather Schmitt of Loyal; 14
step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Cuddie
Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Pastor Carl Bauchspiess officiating. Burial will
be held in the Greenwood City Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held
at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
