Schunk, Louise I. (Campbell) (10 SEP 1925 - 13 JAN 2019)

Louise I. Schunk, 93, of Stanley, left her home on earth on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Country Terrance-Stanley.

She was born on September 10, 1925 at the family home near Lake Hallie to the later Louis and Muriel (Bean) Campbell. She received her education at Gower School in Lake Hallie. The attended Eau Claire High for two years. Louise married Edward “Bud” Schunk, Sr. on December 28, 1941.

They moved to Stanley to farm where they spent their remaining years. To this marriage four children were born. After raising her children Louise worked for Victory Memorial Nursing Home for 12 years.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Donna) Schunk of Stanley, Linda (Keith) Connell of Chippewa Falls and Caraline Alix of Stanley, 14 Grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Allan and Calvin Campbell both of Chippewa Falls.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, Sr. (2002), her son, Edward Jr.
(2006), a son in law, Richard “Dick” Alix, a great grandson, Bradley Hurt (2004), three sisters, Dorothy “Dottie” Banister, Florence “Patsy” Merrill and Joyce Babl and two brothers, Louis “Buddy” Campbell and one in infancy.

No formal services will be held. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
