Weideman, Arlene A. (26 AUG 1922 - 2 DEC 2019)

Arlene A. Weideman, 96 of Dorchester, WI passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 at the Colonial Center in Colby, WI.

A private burial and gathering will be held at a later date for Arlene’s immediate family per her request.

Arlene was born on August 26, 1922 in Abbotsford, WI, the daughter of Herbert and Tillie (Sauter) Weideman. She graduated in 1941 from Dorchester High School. Arlene dairy farmed in the town of Mayville until 1959, then moved to Dorchester. She drove bus for Dorchester Schools and then worked for 24 years at the Dorchester State Bank before retiring in 1984. She was on the Women’s Bowling League for 20 plus years. She was also a member of the Dorchester Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Arlene was a huge Cubs and Packer fan.

Arlene is survived by her brother; Robert H. (Helen) Weideman of Curtiss and her nephew and niece; Robert J. (Janice) Weideman. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Art (Lydia), Harvey (Marianne), and James, three sisters; Vivian (Virgil) Ramker, Mae (Norbert) Harder and Joyce Weideman.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Colonial Center for her excellent care she had the last six and a half years.
