Puphal, Henry August III (8 NOV 1968 - 31 DEC 2018)

Henry August Puphal III, age 50, of Colby, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Henry was born on November 8, 1968, the son of Alice (Krause) Tewes and Henry Puphal Jr. in Merrill, WI. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Maurice Tewes. He graduated from Merrill High School. On August 10, 1991, he was united in marriage to Tammy Gryniewski, in Wausau.

Henry taught himself to play the guitar by listening to and learning Pink Floyd songs. He had a heart of gold, and enjoyed helping others out. If he couldn't fix it, no one could. Henry was a family man, he loved playing with his grandchildren and was excited for the birth of his new grandbaby, Jason Henry. One of his favorite things in life was to play guitar for the people he loved.

Henry is survived by his wife, Tammy; two daughters, Ashley (Matt Staab), and Alyssa (Matt Sweet); one son: Kyle; two grandchildren: Akiralexia Staab and Zayne McKeel; stepfather: Maurice (Ruddy) Tewes, two sisters: Michele (Tim) Seiwert, and Rhonda (Todd) Knoblock; and one brother: James Tewes.

He was preceded in death by his mom: Alice.
