Chancellor Leonard Haas presided and gave the charge to the graduates at the
1973 Spring Commencement at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire on Thursday,
May 17, 1973 at 2 p.m. in the Arena.
Marlene Sue Carlson received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, majoring
in Special Education. While in school Marlene was a dorm R.A for two years, and
social communication at Towers. She was on the Dean’s list for three semesters.
Marlene is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Carlson, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.)
and she plans to teach.
