Daniel L. Kallio, son of Mr. and Mrs. Toivo Kallio, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),, graduated Sunday, May 13, 1973 in the Quandt Gymnasium, University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. He was a recipient of Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education in the College of Professional Studies.

This past semester he completed his teaching requirements in the Marshfield Public School, and is currently supervisor of the Saturday Art Group. While at Stevens Point, he was honored on the Dean's Scholastic List for five semesters. A 1969 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, he plans a career in teaching.

Attending the commencement were Mr. and Mrs. Toivo Kallie and Debbie, Owen; John Kallio, Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kallio, Elmwood.
