Bush, Frances (10 April 1905 - 25 April 1975)

The former Francesca Ripp, age 70, died Apr. 25, 1975. She was born April 10, 1905, to Louie and Mary (Hanson) Ripp. She was born and educated in Alma Center. She was married to Floyd Bush in February 1928 in Winona, Minn.

She and her husband farmed in the Black River area until they moved to Neillsville. The family moved to a farm north of Neillsville in 1946 and later moved to Withee. She continued to live in Withee until she became a resident of Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home, where she lived until the time of her death.

In addition to her two sons, survivors also include four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Wava) Larson of Alma Center, Mrs. Delbert (Lavonne) Schnabel of Neillsville, Mrs. Jerry (Lola) Lindgren of Longwood and Mrs. Gilbert (Wanda) Erickson of Curtiss; one brother, Herman Ripp of Sparta; one sister, Regina Ackerman of Madison; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, one son, Dale, two brothers, three sisters, one grandson and two granddaughters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church Neillsville. Visitation will be at the church from noon until service time Thursday. Her sons, the Rev. Darrell Bush of Milwaukee and the Rev. Charles Bush of Durand, will officiate with the Rev. Douglas Bjerke. Hilda Bush will be organist. Burial will be in Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and a grandson-in-law.

Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
