Mazon, Stefania (Rozanski) (16 MAY 1929 - 11 NOV 2018)

Stefania Mazon, 89, of Weyerhaeuser passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born on May 16, 1929, in Poland, to Maria (Bak) and Jozef Rozanski. She married John Mazon, Sr. on Aug. 20, 1960.

Stefania was a wife, mother, farmer and homemaker who loved to crochet, garden and bake. She was very involved with church activities and was vice-president of Northern Star Lodge #332 for a number of years. She also thoroughly enjoyed sharing her Polish heritage with the community. This included making pierogi and kolaczki for her family, neighbors and friends.

Stefania is survived by her daughter, Christine Mazon-Stai (David Stai); grandson, Hunter Stai; brother, Tadeusz (Maria) Rozanski; sister, Janina (Jan) Orzech; step-grandchildren, Paul Stai, Joan (Ed) Rygula, Lori (Bill) U’Ren, Joe Ludwikowski and Frank Ludwikowski; also, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; infant daughter, Genny; brother, Jan (Maria) Rozanski; step-children, John (Jennie) Mazon, Jr., Helen (Joe) Ludwikowski and Irene; and step-granddaughter, Mary (Bob) Markey.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating.
