Erdman, Pearl E. (21 FEB 1934 - 9 DEC 2018)

Pearl E. Erdman, age 84, of Colby, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at her home.

A funeral service was held at 1 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Green Grove. Rev. Donald Bruce presided. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Family and friends were welcomed from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford was entrusted with the arrangements.

Pearl was born on February 21, 1934, the daughter of Oscar and Elnora (Glenzer) Erdman, on the farm west of Colby. She attended Sandhill Grade School in rural Colby and graduated from Colby High School in 1952. She worked at Sentinel TV in Evanston, Ill., from 1952-55. Pearl then worked at Wausau Motor Parts in Schofield from 1955 until her retiring in 1997.

Pearl was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was the financial secretary at the church for 18 years. Pearl taught Sunday school and was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Pearl is survived by her brother, Galen (Shirley Erikson) Erdman of Curtiss; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce Degenhardt.
