Autumn's events and organization are busy with the year's programs. The New York Homemakers met at the home of Mrs. Merle Bartsch on Thursday evening, October 25. New officers for 1975 were elected: President – Fern Rowe; Vice-President – Irene Dahl; Secretary – Bonnie Bledsoe; Treasurer – Lucille Tyler, and Sunshine Chairman – Jane Bartsch. Project leaders for "All About Turkey" were Fern Rowe and Betty Eibergen. Lunch consisted of a recipe from the project, a delicious hot turkey sandwich.

Rev and Mrs. Gene Carlson showed their pictures of their trip to the Philippines, Alaska, Hawaii, and Japan this past summer at the York Center Church on Sunday evening, October 27. A very nice crowed attended.

Harold Bender has entered Memorial Hospital at Neillsville for treatment of phlebitis in his legs. We wish him a speedy recovery.
