Miller, Janice Mae (31 AUG 1974)

Miss Janice Mae Miller, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Miller, route 1, Loyal, and Bobby Ray Boehning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boehning, route 1, Loyal, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 1974 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Rev. William Humlie performed the ceremony, while Mr. Ronald Gluch played the organ and Mrs. Sharon Schoonover was the soloist.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was seen in a Princess style gown with Victorian lace bodice trimmed with pearls and edged with lace ruffle. The skirt had re-embroidered lace and pearl medallion appliques and wide lace flounce at the hemline and around the chapel train. A Camelot headpiece secured the fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Miss Marilyn Erickson, Unity, as maid of honor, and Mrs. Ronald Meyer, Marshfield, Mrs. Marvin Miller, Loyal, and Miss Brenda Kollmer, Merrill, were bridesmaids, and were seen in crystalette gowns with lace bodices and high necklines, A-line skirts with flounces at the hemlines. The dresses were each a rainbow color of pink, aqua, peach and yellow. They carried bouquets of matching colored roses and white carnations.

Mr. Allen Miller, Loyal, was best man, and Mr. Phil Boehning, Milwaukee, Mr. Marvin Miller, Loyal, and Mr. Ronald Kuenhold, Stratford, were groomsmen.

Mr. Leland Miller and Mr. Art Boehning were ushers.

A reception was held at the Fire Hall in Loyal following the ceremony. Supper was held at the church, and a dance was held at the Village Plaza in Spencer.

The new Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Loyal High School, and also attended Mid-State Tech at Marshfield for one year. She is employed at the Marshfield Clinic as a Laboratory Assistant.

Mr. Boehning is a graduate of Loyal High School, and is employed at Land O'Lakes of Spencer.

The couple will make their home at Route 1, Loyal.
