Shortell, Edward A. (30 MAR 1905 – 25 NOV 1971)

Edward A. Shortell, 66, died Thursday evening at his home in Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.).

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family South Catholic Church, with Reverend John Marx officiated. Burial was made in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Thorp.

Mr. Shortell was born March 30, 1905 at Kimball, South Dakota. He came to Wisconsin in 1914 with his parents. In 1918 he moved to Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), where he farmed until 1969. He then moved to Stanley.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Olson, Stanley, Mrs. August Konsella and Mrs. Margie Konsella, both of Hannibal; three brothers, Vernon, Dale, and Frank, all of Stanley.
