Manz, Jane E. (22 December 1924 – 30 June 2018)

Jane E. Manz, 93, of Baraboo died June 30, 2018, at Tender Reflections, DeForest. She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Clark County, Wisconsin, to Charles and Elvira (Hemp) Neff.

She attended a one-room country school and graduated from Neillsville High School and the University of Wisconsin.

On Sept. 14, 1946, she married Robert W. Manthey of Portage, WI.

They had three children: Darrell (deceased 2002), David (deceased 2008) and Donna.

On February 14, 1973, she married Charles W, Manz.

They were able to fulfill their dream of traveling to Alaska, enjoying five trips there together, along with other journeys in the united States.

Charlie preceded her in death July 15, 1998.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (James Patterson) Manthey; her grandson, Thomas (Kay) Guitzkow; two great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Randall (Yvonne) Manthey.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Memorials may be made to any charity of donor’s choice.

A Celebration of Jane’s Live will be held Sept. 22, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Baraboo Public Library, 230 Fourth Ave. Baraboo, WI.
