Fryman, Eric D. (26 MAR 1979 – 31 AUG 2018)

Eric D. Fryman, 39, Loyal, passed away in Bayfield on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Loyal High School. Rev. Patsy Roe will officiate, and burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Rueth, Carl Drake, Chris O’Connell, Brandon Jahsman, Joe Schilling and Vinnie Putrus. Honorary pallbearer will be Victor Wellhoefer. Visitation will be held at the high school on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Eric David Fryman was born on March 26, 1979, in Tacoma, Wash., to David M. and Annette (nee Fischer) Fryman. He was raised in the Oshkosh area, where he received his education and attended high school. After school, Eric worked as a painter and was amazing at his craft. He was a hard-working man, meticulous with everything he did, and an amazing father, always wanting the best for his family and for them to be happy. He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his family and friends, boating, the quiet, peaceful time outdoors, campfires, and collecting 8-track tapes, baseball cards, and cigars. Eric knew everything when it came to tobacco and had quite a collection in his humidor. He enjoyed reading Clive Cussler and Coastal Living, always wanting to live on the water away from society and just watch his children grow up.

Eric will be dearly missed by his wife, Cari, of Loyal; his father and step-mother: David (Mylli) Fryman of Jensen Beach, Fla.; his mother and step-father: Annette (Robert) Conley of Crandon; one sister: Jaimie Sullivan of Oshkosh; nephews: Tyler, Devon, Logan, Cameron, Lorin and Landon; nieces: Paisley and Zoey; his mother and father-in-law: Rick and Karen Mews of Willard; two sisters-in-law: Tara (Mike) Nelson of Oak Creek, and Bobi (Jeff Horn) Mews of Appleton; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his children: Kyra Fryman, Analiese Fryman-Mews, and Jansen Fryman; his paternal grandmother: Faye Fryman; and his maternal grandparents: Betty and Stan Fischer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at Partners Bank in Spencer and Marshfield, for a fund that has been set up in the family’s name.
