Celske, Lenny Jerome (9 JUL 1966 - 31 JUL 2018)

Lenny Jerome Celske, 52, of Aledo, Ill., passed away on July 31, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, from multiple brain hemorrhages.

Lenny was born in Oak Creek, on July 9, 1966, as the 11th child of Helen and Casimer Celske. Lenny’s father, Casimer, grew up in Ladysmith, and returned to live many years in retirement there. Lenny attended Oak Creek High School and was a brilliant mechanic who loved to repair not only his cars but any friend or family member’s car in need of repair.

Lenny was beloved by his fiancée, Molly Boynton and her daughter, Shannon; his father, Casimer Celske; his siblings, Carey Celske, Larry Celske, Christine Freiboth, Linda (Tom) Edwards, Lee (Cindi) Celske, Curtis Celske, Laura (Duane) Paul, Craig (Chantal) Celske and Lyle Celske; 14 nieces and nephews; and 23 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Celske; his older sister, Cynthia (Cindy) Celske; and his niece, Rebecca Nelson.

Lenny was known as a giving person, and even in death, his giving continues as his donation of organs and tissues will touch the lives of as many as 50 people.

A celebration of life is planned for family and close friends in Oak Creek. In lieu of flowers, his family and friends encourage everyone to consider signing an organ donation card.

A celebration of life is planned on Sept. 29 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Oak Creek for family and close friends.
