Krueger, Bennie Charles (15 APR 1932 - 28 JUL 2018)
Bennie Charles Krueger, 86, of Holway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July
28, 2018. A brief gravesite service will be held for family and friend on Friday
Aug. 3 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran in Holway at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Amy Heinz
officiating.
Bennie was born on Feb. 15, 1932 in Holway. He was the son of the late Albert
and Elsie (Raasch) Krueger. He attended Hillside School in Holway and lived on
the family farm for most of his life. Later he moved in with his sister, Margie
Sova, until she passed away. Bennie has since been a resident of Colonial Center
in Colby. Bennie worked in the woods, logging for many years. He also was a
mechanic and hauled milk. He liked gardening and taking care of his horses.
Bennie is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bennie was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth
Seaborn and Margie Sova; his brothers, Eldred, Louis, Douglas and Arden;
brothers-in-law, Ray Seaborn and Arnold Sova; and sister-in-law, Edna Krueger.
The family would like to extend thanks to The Colonial Center in Colby for
caring for Bennie the last four years and thanks to Hemer Funeral Home and
Pastor Amy Heinz.
